Different companies pay google to put their ads on the internet then Google pays you for letting them use your websites to post such ads. They pay you when people click on certain ads. They do not pay much per click but, if you have thousands of hits a day to your website it can really add up after awhile. Google charges a lot in ways for their advertising but, it is a good way to advertise your website if you do not know how to do things yourself to help get listed higher in online searches and with other types of internet marketing.
