The sound and acoustics in the theater are just simply amazing. The people that work there and put the shows together are some of the coolest and nicest people in all of the DFW area and possibly all of the usa!

The Ridglea Theater itself is a very beautiful place. It has a very unique and special feeling to it. It is like it has a type of presence there that is very special. Almost as if it has a type of good haunting feeling to it or past energy stored inside the building itself.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  November 3rd 2007 Live at Ridglea we attended the Rock The Dead concert and found that some of the Dallas Bands can really rock. They had local band listings and listings for their Fort Worth Event all over the newspapers and internet ect. This was a cool fun Fort Worth Party with Live music from local Texas Bands.

The short clip below was taken by Leigh at Ridglea Theater. The band was her favorite of any there. It was the ACDC Tribute band (Back In Black) Live in FT Worth TX. Here for Back In Black the AC/DC Tribute Band Clip

   The Texas bands there were doing tribute's to The Beatles, The Grateful Dead, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin, Alice In Chains, AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica and tons of fun. The Rock The Dead Concert in Fort Worth Texas was to benefit the Texas Musicians Museum. I hope you got to make it to the fun cool Fort Worth Party and stop in for some of the best live music in TX. Hilary Leigh (Not Hillary Leigh as the Dallas Observer had it grin.) did live face and body painting for the Day Of The Dead festival celebration in Fort Worth. The dayglo or uv body paint showed up very well.

     The bands that played all seemed to put a lot into their music. It was a very intense and impressive. I must say that two or 3 of the bands caught my attention and ears. The music did rock and the AC/DC Tribute Band was the one that I felt sounded closes to the actual band they were playing tribute to. I think even Brian Johnson would have the vocals. The band that did the ACDC Tribute and songs was Back In Black and they really did every song well. Another I felt to mention highly of did a tribute to The Beatles and even John Lennon would have loved them I am sure. Though we not longer have John Lennon I must say that the lead singer of the tribute band Me & My Monkey did a great job and he should be heard. As for Janis Joplin I would not say that Janis herself was what I would call a musical talent or had a great voice but, The band Kozmic Thrills seemed to do her music very well. The band most seemed to wait for was the Tribute band for Metallica and they did a great job.

Dallas & Fort Worth Texas club listings

With the AC/DC tribute band footage from the Fort Worth Concerts I did not post the full footage or take the entire song on video because I think we should all look for their cd's and see them live. Hey when they make a million or so then maybe I will feel ok with posting an entire video of them. I have rock and roll videos, hip hop videos and band footage at www.microsoftvideos.com of you wanted to watch live concert footage from other bands ect. For now I say give that band a bit of money and support them by attending Back In Black concerts and buying their CD's Ect

All the bands rocked of course. The Metallica Tribute band is called Alcohollica. Cool band name eh. grin. There was also The Donkey Show doing the Alice In Chains songs, Voodoo Blue doing Stevie Ray Vaughn Music, The Dead Thing doing The Grateful Dead, Swan Song Doing Led Zeppelin music, Blizzard Of Ozz doing Ozzy Osbourne or trying to anyway grin. They did put effort into it I am sure. There we have it. My thoughts on the live concert event

 Oh for those that do not know by now zolaente is also leigh girl or Hilary Leigh grin. I did paint there but, I am so used to writing books and pages ect that I often still seem to refer to myself in 3rd person. Just a bad and weird habit. Grin. Catch Leigh Live in Dallas Fort Worth Texas live body art schedule here not!!! Grin! just past pics and photos. Yeah I was stuck out there for almost a decade in hell. I am not just out of hell but I made it far to heaven. I shall not do anything ever in usa. My body shall not touch the soil of that evil country ever again either. I am so out of there it is shocking as I sit in heaven saying I hope never to return to hell of american ways. That life was so sucky!
