Seems there is word out of a lawsuit against CJ.Com or Commission
Junction. COMMISSION, TRACKING AND GETTING PAID
COMMISSION
We have heard that there as now 2 class action
lawsuits that were filed in April of 2007 against
Commission Junction, BeFree & ValueClick. Seems they
name Commission Junction & BeFree publishers or
affiliates as the plaintiffs' in this fraud lawsuit as
some call it. Also one says CJ and BeFree merchants are
the plaintiffs in that lawsuit. Adware programs or
Adware could be the blame for things as some are
stating.
As I notice and say always... Tracking of sales
and clicks or leads on 3rd party sites or affiliate
programs really never seems to be 100% or even 50%
accurate to most yet how can we prove it really.
The lawsuits against ValuClick, CJ is said to be due
to a breach of contract. Also the CJ lawsuit filed is
said to be due to unfair business practices on their
part. It is said to be due to the fact they allow adware
affiliates to run or operate in their affiliate
networks. Seems they are stating that they have been
knowingly allowing adware affiliates to post and run
within their networks.
Of course some of the adware problem comes from
committing commission theft while others say also
fraudulent transactions through adware applications are
very common for some. The CJ Lawsuit and will boil down
to the issue of giving monetary damages to the
affiliates and merchants that wish to join in this class
action lawsuit against CJ.
Seems I found out about the Affiliate
Claim and Merchant Claim after I received an email
myself. Of course on all programs I have joined and seen
they have some merchants and publishers problems both.
Even Google has had trouble in the past with putting up
ads on pages that were the opposite of what they
advisors were selling ect. Also some of the work at home
sites and fraudulent companies that are let on all
affiliate programs to be offers is always very shocking
but american people and companies are not about honesty
and screening they are about money and greed. Sadly that
is true.

If you have money and
can sue or have money you can speak out on fraud sites ect.
If you don't have money or people and companies with money
to help back you up and get your message heard in court for
lawsuits remember
Freedom of Speech for any American is too expensive or
for honest ones anyway.
The usa and affiliate programs are probably not
really tracking and paying you all you make. Some pay you
nothing while you make a lot of money for them. In reality
if you deal with usa people and companies 99.9% of the time
your probably being used and not being paid for what you do.
It is the same with having a job and working for a company
in the usa on commissions. You probably only get a small
amount of what you really make and that is if your lucky. I
always say the less people you deal with in ways the more
you make and better off you are. However is a penny earned
for every thousand you make better than nothing at all? Yeah
if you already did the pages and have it up remember it
takes time to remove and replace everything. Rather than
changing them out or deleting high ranked pages at one time
it could be wiser to redirect them to other things that you
sell and offer yourself. Maybe even put up google ads or
google Adsense to at least make something on them. To
affiliate sites and affiliates of such middle men I say that
we will probably not ever find one that is 100% legit. As
for usa companies and the internet it is always the same as
the people and country itself. Yeah you are of course not
going to find many if any that are honest. That is just the
american way and America as it has always been. Good luck

seem to work and the source sent seemed to try to hide it by
using other services ect. The site it had a link to seems
sure not to be up at the moment ect. I do however know that
every affiliate program online I have ever seen does do
business not in ways I see as fair and many of them do have
companies I know to be not fair and fraud ect. You just have
to always be careful and pick out the ones you feel
confident are not scam companies and things to sell on your
pages ect.. .Or better yet create and sell your own products
and services that are better and cheaper in price ect. It is
not so hard to do such things if you have the time and such
ect.

Important Legal Notice Regarding Commission Junction’s
Affiliate Network
If
you joined or were a member of the affiliate marketing
networks operated by ValueClick, Inc., Commission Junction,
Inc. and/or Be Free (collectively, “Defendants”),
between April 20, 2003
and the present, you may be a class member in Settlement
Recovery Center et al. v. ValueClick, Inc.
et al., No. 2:07-cv-02638-FMC-CTx, a lawsuit which is
pending in the Central District of California. The
Settlement Notice informs you of the Court's certification
of a class for settlement purposes; the nature of the claims
alleged; your right to participate in, or exclude yourself
from, the class; a proposed settlement; and how you can
claim an award of advertising credits under the settlement
or object to the settlement.
The
proposed settlement will resolve claims that Defendants
failed to adequately monitor Commission Junction’s Network
for the use by third parties of software that does not
comply with Commission Junction’s (“CJ”) Publisher Code of
Conduct and that is intended to steal or divert commissions
from publishers on CJ’s network (“Non-compliant Software”),
failed to adequately monitor or prevent third parties from
engaging in the theft or “hijacking” of commissions from
Advertisers and Publishers on CJ’s Network, and failed to
make sufficient disclosures regarding the existence of
Non-compliant Software and commission theft, resulting in
losses to both advertisers and publishers on the CJ Network.
The
proposed settlement will provide a monetary recovery to
eligible class members. For class members that currently
maintain an account on the CJ Network will receive payment
through payments or
credits deposited or applied to their CJ accounts; eligible
class members that no longer have accounts on the
Commission Junction Network will receive a check for an
equal amount.
If
you are a member of the class, your legal rights are
affected by whether you act or do not act. You should review
the Settlement Notice as soon as possible as there are
several important deadlines that you must meet to take
certain actions in connection with this proposed settlement.
In particular, the deadline for filing an objection or
excluding yourself from the proposed settlement is September
30, 2008. For further information, please refer to the
Settlement Notice.

questions and answers. If you wonder what do you have to do
to get in the lawsuit or get what you are owed I can only
say that you can find it there. I have spoken to some of the
lawyers that are handling the commission junction lawsuit
this year and I have a really good feeling that they finally
busted them open and got this one in bag grin. Finally one
out millions of fraud programs or affiliate networks is
busted in court we expect. Too bad they did not hit many of
the others or such but hey one win is good if it can happen.
They seem
not to need help with the suits filed or lawsuits in this
case since they seem to have enough evidence to win
according to one of the cool lawyer's taking on cj.com SOO
COOL! As for what you need to do to be in the class action
suit for merchants, publishers ect... I have been told that
if we were with them at those posted dates we are
automatically in the case. Yeah we will be contacted and get
a % of the winnings to make it fair but, of course legal
fees and all will be taken out & it will be split up between
many of us I am sure. That means do not expect to get what
you really made or what was owed in some cases but, hey
isn't something better than nothing grin. I am so shocked to
see american people stand up against such things finally
wow. Ok there is one for you people so thanks for that.
( I doubt any work to pay
full 100% Commission on sales, I never found one that was in
my opinion 100% real anyway but is some money better than
none or is the work for a penny per every thousand's of
dollars not worth it grin.) The only real MONEY or way to
Make Money online is via hard work and do it all yourself or
offer the best of everything and get paid what they want to
pay you ect)
Below is a book I did and sell myself along with other
magazines. They do not sell well to the usa only because I
am not so well known or liked by american people. That does
not bother me since I never before tried to market to them
so much anyway. They always brought more trouble than I
needed and never had a successful site or company in dealing
with usa things only ect.

Also as another example I did make
hand made or home made jewelry and paintings, sketches,
sculptures and more things that I sold or tried to sell
online myself to avoid affiliate programs. To me though I
know what I get into and how these companies work. I of
course will one day deal with only my own things and stores
that have no others linked to them ect. At the moment I do
deal with so much in sales or selling things that for me
even if I do not get the money or all the money I earn that
does not matter so much since I know what I get into when I
deal with american people and companies ect. Too bad they
are not fair people but that is the usa.
