I started looking into self publishing scams to report on and also started creating and publishing my own book to send in and put it through the proper marketing and steps of book publishing. The book that I created to show how to do book publishing and even create a hard back book from scratch is called Facepaint Poetry and it is seen here. It is a very cool book in ways since it is my first (was my first) self published book. I has a bit of my cool creations of unusual art and poetry all in one book.   The book that I sent in to Borders Books ( Borders & Walden Books ) got the attention of a lady from Borders and Walden Books. (Borders And Walden Books are huge book distributors in the USA & some books are even put out in the UK stores by Borders Books!) I sent my book into B Dalton Books and also to even the book distributors for Walmart Stores or Wal-Mart Books. They use a company to buy the books and DVD's ect. The company that tends to this for Wal-Mart Stores along with many other listings for Publishers of Books and Even Book Distributors Listings will be below. I will tell and show you how to do your own cool creations of books here. This will be a step by step information on how to self create books and how to self publish books. I will even show you how to make hard back book covers and much more. You can create and bind your own books but, you can not use comb binding for some distribution of books. Borders and Walden books likes to have their books done with what is called perfect biding. There will be a video of how to create books and book covers below.   About Facepaint Poetry {I had created the entire book myself and even got a binding machine on sale to bind them myself. The cool creations of the covers was created by myself also to make the hard back covers and backs of these cool books. My books are all done by hand or homemade as print shops and distribution companies of covers ect were all not needed. I bought my ISBN numbers and sent my book into a few distributing companies. ( I only purchased one ISBN Number for I did not need a block of them at that time. I only wanted to print and publish one book as an example on how to get books put out in stores ect.

   It does not take talent or a good books to go through publishing companies since publishing companies mostly charge you to do the books for you in printed copies kind of like a book printing company ( or print shops. ) They make money off you and offer a service is all. You buy the ISBN Numbers also so that has nothing to do with if the book will make it. I sent my first one in at the start with no ISBN to Borders and not with proper binding since I did not think they would really take it serious. I first sent in a facepaint magazine type of magazines seen here. Much to my shock the kind lady there called me and wanted to have me send it in with a barcode and ISBN & proper binding. She even moved it along to another company to see if they also wanted to purchase this. Due to my work and hours spent on working it was hard for me to even sleep let alone take time to get my facepaint book in as they wanted. I let that book selling go and ended up changing it in major ways to create the art and literature all in Facepaint Poetry. Of course later after sending that in I had to raise the price since it costs more to make a hard back book in full size with the binding and time ect.
