Fermin Arzu was a 43 year old Father of 3 and loved husband.) He was also an unarmed man that happen to accidentally hit a car outside the home of a New York Police Officer. This is the sad and true story of the shooting to death of Fermin Arzu. (Off Duty Police Officer Fatally Shot To Death An Unarmed Motorist in New York. This was in the Longwood Section of New York in May of  2007!

Fermin Arzu was a father and husband loved and missed. He was also a very hard worker that worked as a porter and maintenance worker in 3 different buildings in the Bronx.

Fermin Arzu was also a musician that played in several bands. He played several different instruments. This man was an accomplished musician living in New York.

May 24, 2007 Fermin Arzu had just got done dropping his wife off at home. He had just taken her back home from the hospital after she had an operation. Keep in mind also that this man was unarmed and no threat at all to the police officer that shot him to death! Fermin Arzu was not drinking or drunk, There were no weapons in his car and no weapons seen at the accident! There was no reason to believe this man had a weapon or was a threat! These are facts!

Fermin Arzu was driving a minivan when he accidentally hit a parked car outside Officer Ralphael Lora's House. Ralphael Lora is a New York Police Officer. Officer Ralphael Lora was off duty at the time and wearing plain clothing. Witnesses claim that Officer Lora of the New York Police Department ran out of his house when he heard the car hit. Officer Lora had a gun in his hand and did not appear to be a police officer according to many witnesses at the murder scene. The New York Officer did not announce he was a police officer or show a badge. One of the witnesses even claimed Officer Lora looked like a thug carrying a gun. This would scare anyone away!

Fermin Arzu drove off slowly when he saw the man with a gun (Officer Lora) running out after him.) WITNESSES CONFIRMED HE WAS NOT SPEEDING AWAY!

     When Fermin Arzu got scared and drove away from the (SIMPLE AUTO ACCIDENT WHERE HE MERELY HIT A PARKED CAR WITH NOBODY IN IT!) scene of the accident Officer Ralphael Lora Shot Fermin Arzu to death by firing his gun 5 times at the unarmed man. This is police brutality resulting in death! One of the shots fired by the police officer Lora hit poor Fermin Arzu in the back piercing his heart! This caused Arzus Minivan to jump a curb and crash into a church bursting his vehicle into flames. The police later tried to say the cause of death was the fire but, the MEDICAL EXAMINER CONFIRMED THE CAUSE OF DEATH WAS THE BULLET THAT PIERCED THIS UNARMED MANS HEART! The true cause of death was murder by New York Police Officer Raphael Lora!

  The Honduras Government has demanded a serious investigation into the shooting to death of Fermin Arzu by Officer Lora. Sadly in the USA these officers get away with murder and police brutality on a daily basis. I wish the Honduras Government luck in their quest for justice and my heart goes out to this mans friends and family. I am sorry for the ignorance and injustices done by the American People and their Military, Police and Murders!
