GALVESTON TEXAS LIVE WEBCAM September during Hurricane Ike it was a snap shot photo just before electric & all went out in Beautiful Galveston Island! Photo of Galveston Texas. Seems to be the last photo snap shot taken of Galveston during the storm aka Hurricane Ike. The waves and photo was really amazing. After a bit when Galveston Electrical and Cams are all back working it is again streaming live video cam of Galveston Beach & Surf Cam. The last known pic of the Hurricane Ike as of 9-12-08 Galveston Island a very different look to the beach than I remember grin. Ok as of Sept 25, 2008 or a bit after (geeze eh), I am sure that and all Galveston Webcams & Houston Webcams will be back up in a bit. The Houston Cams and Galveston Webcams I found live were ones I had to keep changing to make sure we stayed online with live cams to track and watch Hurricane Ike. So now seems it is heading our way as a Tropical Storm with high winds, heavy rain and flood's maybe possible they say also. In watching it on my live weather pages off my site it seems huge still. They say at around 8am or such that it is now down to only 100 mph winds as it is finishing passing through Houston. Instead of posting Downtown Houston Webcams I will be wise and save myself time and trouble. I will prepare for my day and cams. Most of the power went out except downtown Houston and Hospitals they say anyway and individuals with cams at times change them to other things often. In case we could have electrical go off on us or tornado's and such I will not risk posting more cams of others. We had what we found to be the only Hurricane webcam live during the eye of the Hurricane and all though the Hurricane in Houston and Galveston Texas. Most cams were down as we posted live webcams to show the Live Hurricane in Texas. I also kept changing as cams would go down due to electrical going off yet the news footage and cams via there were not using the electricity so were the best way to go. Live broadcasts and video webcams of TX. USA Cams and USA Webcams all Live.
Now if there are Tornadoes in Texas or Tornado Webcams as you may search it. I will post my live webcams and show Dallas Tornado & Weather webcams live via Texas usa ect. For now I say this is a done page since there are links to all the other live webcams and free videos. My cams under pets and art ect.
This means when the storm comes to Dallas if you want to see live Dallas Webcams & Live Weather cams of Texas Storms and USA Cams you can watch Live Dallas cams here and my north texas Dallas area webcam out the window. If it is after about Noon or 1:00pm and you see someone doing paint on that cam this means that the storm is coming and that is more interesting than empty sky cams and such. The Galveston Texas cams and Houston Webcams were fun watching during the hurricane ike to see live Hurricane Ike Webcams and Live Streaming Video but, now hearing that some in Houston are out of power for days or even a week or two makes me thinking I best prepare with just my cams for individuals or home webcams to see weather webcams in texas. The beach cams, store cams, world cams and all are not belonging to people that would change them and have been on my pages for years but, the featured webcams in the two areas embed cams on my sites are new people and news videos ect. They may not remain here and I may change them at times to keep new webcams and updated news and weather cams on here as you surf world webcams.
The Galveston Webcams link has all Galveston & Houston Webcams. Around 9-11-08 it seems people started looking a day or two ahead for Live Galveston Ocean Cams. If you wanted weather webcams this is a great place to see the Hurricane live it seems. We can only hope the Galveston Seawall can stand what could be a pretty bad Hurricane Ike. Since there was a mandatory evacuation of all of Galveston Island and there was talk of turning off lights and water seems we are lucky to have any of the cams running for this Hurricane Ike. This means look at the Houston Webcams if the Galveston Cams are out. Cams will not be working on most but, Houston Webcams can show Hurricane Ike Live possibly. One thing they say and stick to is that those whom stay in Galveston & Evacuated areas will have no shelters open to go to!! Yeah seems others like Harris.. was called for evacuation soon. Let us hope this was called in time to get everyone out in case.
As Cams are taken out due to weather I will try to replace with working webcams to track Hurricane Ike. Keep in mind Dallas Texas will be waiting and watching for Tropical Storms and I will show live Tropical Storm Ike now instead of live Hurricane Ike. If they rename it or such I can not help that grin. Ok there we have it. If electric stays on and we get the heavy winds, rain, flooding, or just a nice storm, tornados or whatever as long as my electric is on you will be able to view my weather cam. I will wait and post it on this page around Noon Today as of September 13th 2008 at Noon. From there if work on pages and cam updates or my cam is off it means then we too may have lost power and have no electricity for as long as it would take to fix it. I do not expect that and sure would hate it but, just in case keep this in mind.
