The Deadly Plague got its name due to being found in China. China had sealed off Ziketan in Qinghai after finding a pneumonic plague had killed 3 people while finding it had infected others with the plague. The Ziketan Plague was first said to be found in a town in north west areas of China. Official news in chain or Xinhua News agencies stated that police and other authorities had locked down the entire town and started to disinfect the region. Police in China had set up checkpoints around Ziketan after the outbreak was first found however some people had tried to pass through as it was reported prior in news here. People in the Qinghai province and other areas have made reports that the stores and businesses seem to have mostly shut down and the streets seem quiet with nobody out. People are wise to try to avoid each other and stay away from public places while the disease or pneumonia type lung infection known as Ziketan Plague is able to spread and cause other people to become infected with the Plague. The first victims of the Plague or first people heard on news reports on people dying from Ziketan Plague was a 32 year old man in Ziketan and a 37 year old man followed by a 64 year old man. News from Xinhua has released the name of the 64 year old man calling him Danzhi. The news there is saying that the 3 people that died from the plague were neighbors. As of August 4, 2009 news reports on death tool or stats and information about Ziketan Plague all state that the 32 year old man that died from the pneumonic plagues relatives are infected with the plague and in the hospital. 1 of them is said to be in serious condition while the other seems to be having symptoms of coughing and chest pain. As of if they will die or recover is not known as I am writing this. Pneumonic Plague is caused by the same bacteria that causes Bubonic Plague & bacteria that caused THE BLACK DEATH. The black death was said to have killed about 25 Million people in Europe. If you do not remember learning about The Bubonic Plague and The Black Death you should maybe read a bit of History or european history. If the thought of bubonic plague and THE BLACK DEATH does not scare you then nothing will eh. This is to tell you how very serious this can become! Bubonic Plague is said to usually come from flea bites though. Pneumonic plague happens when bacteria infects the lungs or can happen when bubonic plague goes untreated. People infected with the plague may just show symptoms of the flu like chills, fever, muscle aches, vomiting and nausea ect. Keep in mind the plague could have an incubation period of 3 days to a week. You may not have symptoms of pneumonia or pneumonic plague yet could still be one of the people infected with Pneumonic Plague aka Ziketan Plague. The first thing we should think to is if someone has got out of the area with the deadly virus or deadly infection and spread it world wide. This Ziketan Plague could spread out of China and become world wide making it a deadly plague and killing many all over the world. If the Ziketan Plague is as they are saying a pneumonic plague it could spread easily since it would be air born also. If a person near you has the ziketan plague and they just cough in the air you can get this deadly plague. The pneumonic plague is said to be one of the deadliest infectious diseases in the world. The pneumonic plague can kill people within a day and can reach world wide if it is not contained and stopped. |
