 Common Signs & Symptoms
Herpes can spread by skin to skin contact. Herpes exposure occurs when there is no seen rash. You can be with someone that has herpes and they may not even have any visible signs. Yes skin to skin contact and you could be infected!

After exposure to the virus, a 2 to 20 day incubation period you can get the genital herpes outbreak. Only half of those infected will have enough symptoms to know they are infected. Symptoms of primary genital herpes may include fever, headache, and muscle aches. A few days later you may see a rash of painful blisters or ulcerations on the skin where the infection of Herpes took place. Tender and swollen groin glands (lymph nodes) then develop about a week after the skin rash. The rash and pain usually completely goes away over 3 to 4 but,the virus stays in the nerves. You then may get a re-infection from time to time. This recurrent genital herpes usually begins with a burning or itchy sensation followed by the skin rash a day or two later.

One manifestation of this viral infection occurs in babies delivered through the birth canal of an infected woman. Though this is rare in women who are not having an outbreak at delivery, it can and does happen. herpes iinfection of a newborn often causes a body and brain infection in the baby. There is a high death rate for infants infected. Out of the babies that live there is often mental retardation and blindness.

   Common Signs & Symptoms of Chlamydia
    Chlamydia sometimes does not even show any symptoms in men or women. However when it does show symptoms In men it can cause groin pain and swelling as well as burning when peeing. Symptoms In young girls can be mild vaginal discharge and odor. In women it can cause an off white discharge and odor which comes from an infected cervix. In women it can silently linger for months and progress to PID {Pelvic Inflammatory Disease}.

  1/2 of all babies being delivered through the birth canal of an infected women will develop pink eye a week after birth. About 1/4th of babies passing down the infected birth canal will get Chlamydia pneumonia. Certain strains of Chlamydia trachomatis can get into the skin through minor cuts and cause a disease known as Lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV). This disease has a number of stages from a mild swollen groin lymph node to fever and chills. After months to years, LGV can spread to other lymph nodes causing pain, swelling, skin breakdown and other problems involving ones rectum and genitals.

Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, or PID for short, is actually a spectrum of diseases that affect women only. The uterus, fallopian tubes, and other areas of a woman's upper genital tract become infected and inflamed causing pain, swelling, fever, and scarring. PID causes changes in the normal anatomy of the woman's genital tract therefore increasing the future risk of an embryo grow outside of the uterus when giving birth. Of course that leads to shock and death of the mother if not rapidly diagnosed) or infertility. Multiple sex partners, use of an intrauterine device for birth control & even douching too often can cause PID.

Symptoms of PID The most common symptom is abdominal or pelvic pain. Abnormal vaginal bleeding, pain during intercourse, and vaginal discharge. PID is not necessarily sexually transmitted, though the majority of cases of PID are caused by gonorrhea & Chlamydia. Pelvic pain and fever with symptoms of gonorrhea or Chlamydia are common symptoms also.

 TRICHOMONAS Facts
   Trichomonas is caused by a single cell parasite called Trichomonas vaginalis.Trichomonas is a common sexually transmitted disease. It is found in 50%-75% of those that are very sexually active. The parasite rarely causes symptoms in men os of course re-infection of women by partners that are not treated is common.

 SYMPTOMS OF TRICHOMONAS
 The Trichomonas infection does not always show any symptoms. When it does show symptoms In women it is sometimes a yellowish green vaginal discharge with a musty odor, vaginal itching, lower abdominal pain, pain when peeing and even an unusual pain during sexual intercourse. 

How to Avoid TRICHOMONAS
   Trichomonas is spread through both oral and vaginal sex with no protection. It is spread through semen, vaginal fluid and other body fluids. Do not have unprotected oral or vaginal sex. Do not have sex with prostitutes or many different partners. Do not have sex with someone that has sex with others ect. It is not so hard to avoid stds if you use your big head not your small one guys. As for the guys and girls use condoms and take all precautions.

SYPHILIS Information
Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease caused by the bacteria, Treponema pallidum.

Common Signs & Symptoms of Syphilis
 In the first stage you have 1 or more painless skin ulcers form on the body or any area on your body ect. 

Two to eight weeks after the chancre heals, the bacteria spreads throughout the body causing many types of rash. Commonly the rash is found on the palms and soles. The rash can have many different appearances. Other symptoms are a fever, sore throat, and swollen glands. Like primary syphilis, the signs & symptoms of secondary syphilis go away on their own. Syphilis then becomes silent for many years (with possible flares of secondary syphilis symptoms occurring from time to time). "Tertiary", or late syphilis, often occurs 15 years or so after the initial chancre, and slowly gets worse. It affects the brain and spinal cord, often causing mental illness and paralysis. It can also affect the heart causing inflammation of the aorta & the deeper skin causing rubbery lumps in skin.  

Like many sexually transmitted diseases, a pregnant mother with syphilis can give it to the baby while in the womb. Congenital syphilis, can cause the baby to die before birlth. 

HOW TO AVOID Syphilis

BACTERIAL VAGINOSIS
   Whether or not Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) is a sexually transmitted disease is often debated. BV is the most common vaginal infection affecting 1 out of every 5 women. BV is believed to be caused by an overgrowth of bacteria normally found in the vagina

Symptoms of Bacterial Vaginosis
BV may present with a variety of symptoms or none at all.  More than 50% of women with BV may be without symptoms. Commonly, though, BV causes an unpleasant fishy or musty vaginal odor, vaginal discharge (usually thin gray or white that sticks to the vagina walls), and vaginal itching and irritation. BV has been associated with PID.
